When I saw this floating around on Facebook, I thought it was really funny. But I also thought that it could never happen in snoburbia because no one around here does the lights overkill thing. You can't overkill understatement, right? But then I was driving and saw the snoburbia version:
Just...one...more...garland.

I am really disappointed they didn't get the top windows.

You need to take a drive around Outer Snoburbia sometime. We've got some overkill around here!

That house with the DITTO was up in my sister's neighborhood in Urbanna (Frederick County).

Reading this post--and finding this blog--just made my day. For I know my time in DC proper is short, as my husband and I both realize that someday, if we want kids, we're gonna have to pick a suburb...er...snoburb.

Also note that when some neighborhoods are beginning the snoburbanization process, it turns out that some people (i. e., the long term residents) didn't get the memo on over-lighting and the heinous sin of keeping your lights up past the drop-dead date. At least the flames keep the neighborhood list serve nice and toast warm...
