Hah! Your best post in a while!

Matty

who'd a thunk it a hundred years ago that coal would become a hallmark of an upscale eatery?

OK. Since most US electricity comes from coal-fired plants, technically, baking it in an electric oven pretty much achieves the same thing. Not nearly as pretentious as holding your pie over a chunk of flaming anthracite...

And while I make no claims to being a geologist or chemist, I thought coal-burning was a fairly dirty process. You know, creating green-house gases, acid rain and the like. The mining of it certainly is filthy and dangerous.

That has to be one of the stupidest things I've heard yet.

Queen of the Weezils

Hahaha! This is pretty funny since CoalFire pizza in Kentlands has become my favorite pie joint. What can I say - it's really tasty pizza!

King Jellyfish

One must be skinny to reside in inner snoburbia. Ever notice that anyone who is husky lives in the outersnoburbs?
