I had to laugh at this story about Abercrombie & Fitch asking Jersey Shore cast member The Situation (really) not to wear their clothes because it hurts their image. I hate to tell them, but nobody in snoburbia has been wearing A&F for at least three years now. It couldn't possibly get any more downmarket.

I agree! I thought the same thing, "Do they think this is 1901?"

I generally don't pay attention to brand names at all, but anything Jersey Shore wears automatically gets a "no". So A&F has a point. On the other hand, who else would wear it? Maybe they should cultivate those fans and change their name to "Abercrombie and Guido".

That guy is *exactly* who is wearing A & F nowadays. Hollister too.

Same as it ever was. Jordache anyone? How about Bugle Boy? Clothing is a tricky marketplace for any brand and/or customer.
