It's August, and in snoburbia that means one thing: It's time for the annual family photo.
Here are the rules:
1. Everyone must wear matching white shirts and khaki.
2. If you are a hipster family, everyone must wear jeans with either a white or black shirt.
3. Most important of all: Everyone must be barefoot.

I always laugh when I get Christmas cards with these type of photos or when I am the beach and everyone is in their bathing suits and along comes a family dressed in white shirts.
