The hot buzz around snoburbia this week is where the Obamas will send their daughters to school in Washington. Will it be Sidwell Friends, where Chelsea Clinton went (starting tuition $28,000+)? Will it be Georgetown Day? Beauvoir/National Cathedral School? Or will it be Maret?Everyone is chattering about it. According to the Washington Post, the Obamas are visiting several schools.
The overclass is all atwitter. If the president’s children go to your child’s school after all, that makes you a bonifide member. Maybe your daughter will be invited to the White House for a play-date! At very least, it gives you something to mention nonchalantly while shopping the shoe sale at Saks with your girlfriends.
